POLLY'S MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Wesson oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a big mixing bowl, combine sugar and flour. Bring to boil in saucepan, butter, oil, cocoa and water. Pour over sugar and flour, mix well. Add buttermilk to which has been added soda. Then add cinnamon, vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Grease and flour pan. Batter will be thin. Bake 25 minutes. Cool and frost.

ICING:

2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
