CHRISTMAS CANDY | |
2 1/2 boxes confectioners' sugar 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk 1 c. coconut 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1 1/2 (8 oz.) jars red or green cherries, drained and chopped 1/4 c. butter, melted 1 1/2 blocks paraffin 2 (12 oz.) bags chocolate chips In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients. Roll into small balls (lightly grease hands for easier rolling). Place on cookie sheet and chill while preparing dipping chocolate. To prepare chocolate, combine paraffin and morsels in a double boiler and heat until melted, stirring occasionally. Insert a toothpick into each chilled ball and dip into melted chocolate-paraffin mixture. Refrigerate until needed. Makes 100 balls. |
