CHRISTMAS CANDY 
2 boxes 4X sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. bag coconut
1 1/2 lb. candied cherries
2 sticks melted butter
1 can Eagle Brand milk
3 c. chopped pecans

Mix sugar, vanilla, butter and milk together. Add the coconut, candied cherries and pecans. Mix well with hands. Chill. Make into a small round balls. Dip with a toothpick in chocolate coating of 1 1/2 bars paraffin wax and two 12 ounce bags of chocolate chips that have been melted over a double boiler. Place candy on waxed paper. Makes about 200 pieces.
