MEXICAN COFFEE (POT COFFEE) 
6 c. water
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 inches stick cinnamon
6 whole cloves
3/4 c. regular grind, roasted coffee

In a 3 quart saucepan combine water, brown sugar, stick cinnamon and cloves heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Add coffee. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Strain before serving. Makes 6 (8 oz.) servings.

Pot coffee con leche: pour equal amounts of pot coffee and warm milk into each cup. Optional: add sugar to taste. Great with desserts!!
