VERY GOOD PIE CRUST 
3 c. sifted flour
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. vinegar

Cut in shortening with dry ingredients until stiff. Add a little more flour if necessary. Then add egg, water, and vinegar. Makes 3 double pie crusts.
