CHUCK ROAST SUPREME | |
3-4 lb. boneless beef chuck roast 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 onion, sliced 1/2 c. ketchup 1/2 c. chili sauce 1/2 c. orange juice 1/4 c. honey 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tsp. seasoned salt Heat oil. Cook onion until tender; remove. Add roast. Brown on all sides. Combine remaining ingredients. Cover lightly on top of range or bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2-3 hours. Carve thin slices across grain. Before serving the sauce, remove beef to a plate. Add ice cubes to sauce to soak up grease. Reheat sauce and serve with beef. |
