GRAMIE DOC'S GINGER SPARKLES | |
2 c. flour 1 tbsp. ground ginger 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. or more molasses Mix shortening, egg, sugar and molasses with blender until well blended. Mix dry ingredients. Add slowly to shortening/egg/sugar mixture. When all ingredients are well mixed, roll into ping-pong ball sized balls. Roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Easily doubled. |
