HAM AND BEEF LOGS 
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lb. ground ham
1 c. mashed potatoes (not instant)
1 c. chopped canned tomatoes
1 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 onion, chopped fine
1 slightly beaten egg
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt

Mix together and shape into logs. Pour 1 tablespoon of basting sauce (below) over each log. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Baste every 15 minutes with basting sauce during cooking time.

BASTING SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Place above ingredients in saucepan and boil for 5 minutes.
