SQUASH AND POTATOES 
8 to 10 sm. squash
3 med. potatoes
1 med. onion
1/4 c. butter
Salt
Pepper
Water

Sl ice squash in small chunks. Peel and cut up potatoes in chunks. Cut onions into thumb nail size. Put all ingredients into a large saucepan; salt and pepper to taste. Add about 1 cup water. Cover and cook on medium heat until tender.
