H.'S FRENCH SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cloves (to begin)
1 can tomatoes (1 lb. 12 oz.)
1 tbsp. minced onions
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cinnamon (to begin)
1 can tomato juice (1 qt. 14 oz.)
2 cans tomato paste (6 oz. each)

Fry hamburger, onion, salt and pepper in a deep pan until cooked. Then add tomatoes, juice, paste and sugar. Mix in cinnamon and cloves and simmer for 30 minutes to an hour. For stronger taste, more cinnamon and cloves can be added but do not exceed total of 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1 teaspoon cloves. If sauce is frozen for later consumption, a pinch of cinnamon and/or cloves during warming will revive the flavor. Enjoy!
