SICILIAN SUPPER
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. creamed cheese, cubed
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. chopped green pepper
4 c. cooked noodles (I use twists)
1 tsp. garlic salt

Brown meat, add onion and cook until tender. Add tomato paste, water, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.

Heat milk and cream cheese. Blend well. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, green pepper and cooked noodles.

In buttered casserole alternate rows or layers of meat mixture and noodle mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle on remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. If prepared ahead of time, bake covered for 15 minutes, then uncovered about 15 minutes.

(4 cups cooked noodles = 1/2 pound uncooked noodles). Serves 6-8.

I will not follow where the path may lead, but I will go where there is no path, and I will leave a trail.
