PEARS IN WINE 
1 c. ruby port
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pear halves, drained
Dairy sour cream

In saucepan, combine wine and sugar; bring to boil. Add pears, cover and simmer about 10 minutes. Chill until serving time. To serve, place 2 pear halves in each serving dish. Pour wine mixture over. Spoon a dollop of sour cream over each serving. Makes 3 servings.
