MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. rolled oats
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. tomato juice

TOPPING:

1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. brown sugar

Combine beef, oats, onion, salt, pepper and tomato juice. Mix well and form into a loaf. Place in a 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" loaf pan. Mix brown sugar and ketchup and cover top of meat loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Yield: 4 to 5 servings.
