SIMPLE SPAGHETTI | |
1/2 chopped onion 1/2 lb. ground beef 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried parsley 1/2 tsp. dried basil 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 oz. uncooked spaghetti Heat 1 tablespoon oil in skillet. Add and cook onion and ground beef until lightly brown. Stir in and blend tomato sauce, water, salt, parsley, basil, and pepper. Bring to boil and break the spaghetti in half. Sprinkle spaghetti into the boiling sauce, a little at a time, stirring to keep it separated. Cover tightly. Simmer 20-25 minutes or until just tender. Stir occasionally. |
