MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
3/4 c. water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 pkg. tortilla chips

Brown ground beef and onion in a heavy frying pan, then drain. Add taco seasoning mix, water and soups. Heat on low heat for 15 minutes. Spoon into casserole dish alternating layers of meat mixture, chips and cheese. Begin with meat mixture, then chips, then cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
