PERSIMMON CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 lb. soft butter
3 eggs
2 c. persimmon pulp
2 c. self-rising flour
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
2 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Mix all ingredients well. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
