MAIN DISH CABBAGE 
1 lb. ground beef
6 c. shredded cabbage
1 onion, sliced
1 can tomato soup
salt and pepper to taste

Brown onion and ground beef in skillet. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole layer half the cabbage and half the ground beef; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer the other half cabbage and ground beef; again sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with tomato soup.

Bake, covered, in 350°F oven for 1 hour.
