BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
2 c. boiling water
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1 lb. raisins (opt.)

Pour boiling water over Nabisco 100% Bran. Stir to moisten, add butter, let sit until soft. Stir in sugar, eggs, buttermilk and All Bran. Add flour, soda and salt. Stir just until all is mixed together. Bake in greased muffin tins at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Batter may be stored in refrigerator 6 to 8 weeks. Makes 1 gallon batter. About 5 dozen muffins.
