CHEESY POTATO CASSEROLE | |
1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 c. sour cream 1 can cream of potato soup, undiluted 1 can cream of chicken or celery soup, undiluted 2 c. shredded soft cheese (Velveeta) 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 c. crushed corn flakes 1/3 c. butter, melted Place frozen potatoes in 9 x 13 inch pan or 2 1/2 quart casserole. Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over top. Mix slightly. Mix together sour cream, soups, cheese, salt and pepper. Spread over potato mixture. Combine corn flakes with 1/3 cup melted butter. Put on top of potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
