APPLE RETES 
Retes dough
3 lbs. apples, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 oz. raisins
3 oz. lard
2 oz. bread crumbs
3 oz. sugar mixed with cinnamon

When the dough has been pulled out thin enough, sprinkle it with melted lard and bread crumbs. Spread the apples sliced and mixed with the raisins, sugar and cinnamon evenly over it. Roll up, put into greased tin and bake in moderate oven.
