BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE 
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Macaroni, cooked 6 minutes and drained

In saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Remove from heat and add milk, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese. Stir in macaroni and pour into 2 quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and a few bread crumbs, if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
