How long is all day? I'm not much of a cook so I'm not sure how long all day for a crockpot is.

Hi Vivian,

A Crockpot "day" is usually about 6-10 hours. The idea of a Crockpot is that it's ready when you are. Checking to see if it's tender at the 6 hour mark won't harm anything. You can always cover and cook for a few more hours if you like.

Whenever using a crockpot leave closed as much as possible... a note will help family members or roommates remember. I cooked mine (slightly different recipe) for 11 hours and it turned out falling arpart amazing. I had a long day at work... was probably ready at 9 or 10 hours.
