1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (in syrup), undrained
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, cut in thin slices

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Dump undrained pineapple into pan; spread evenly. Dump in pie filling and spread into even layer. Dump dry cake mix onto pie filling; spread evenly. If you use pecans, sprinkle them over cake mix. Put the butter slices over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 48-53 minutes. Serve warm or cooled.

Note: You can also use other pie filling flavors.
