1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can undrained crushed pineapple
1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
1/2 c. butter, cut into thin slices

Dump undrained pineapple into greased 13x9 inch pan. Spread on top the apple pie filling, then sprinkle cake mix on top of filling. Top with slices of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
