GRILLED RAREBIT SANDWICHES 
12 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Beer
6 slices pumpernickel bread, toasted

In a bowl, mix cheese, garlic powder and mustard. Stir in enough beer to make mixture thick and spreadable. Spread mixture thickly on toast. Broil until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with raw relishes, olives and cherry tomatoes. Serves 6.
