SHIPWRECK STEW 
2 lb. hamburger
1 can tomatoes*
1 c. chopped celery
3 c. raw potatoes
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. kidney beans
1/4 c. raw rice
3 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder

*Can add tomato soup instead of tomatoes.

Brown hamburger. Stir occasionally so it's in small pieces. Drain off grease and pour burger into a 4-quart kettle. Peel and cube potatoes and add to kettle. Brown onions and add to kettle. Add tomatoes or 1 can tomato soup, kidney beans, rice, seasonings, celery and water.

Bake at 350°F in oven 1 hour.

May add more water or beef broth. Can be baked longer, if desired.
