TAMALE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped bell pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped olives
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
Dash of pepper
1 c. grated cheese for topping

Cook meat, onion and pepper in large skillet until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Stir in tomato sauce, corn, olives, garlic, sugar, salt, chili powder and pepper. Simmer 20-25 minutes or until thick. Put in greased 9x9x2 inch baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes.
