3 eggs
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 lb. candied cherries
6 slices candied pineapple
1 pkg. cut dates
6 c. chopped pecans
Sift together:
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs. Add flour mixture and buttermilk; mix well. Add candy and nuts. Drop with teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees about 20 minutes or until light brown.
