ROTTEN COCONUT CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines white cake mix
3 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sm. boxes sour cream

Bake cake mix, according to directions on box (bake in two layers). Freeze layers overnight.

Icing: Combine coconut, vanilla, and sour cream. Refrigerate overnight. Thaw cake layers slightly (about 15 to 20 minutes). Slice layers in halves.

Spread icing on cake and between layers. Let set for 3 days before serving. (Making 4 layers out of 2 by slicing them apart.)
