3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
5 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vinegar

Blend flour, salt and shortening. Beat egg with fork until thoroughly mixed, then add to it the water and vinegar. Mix and add to flour mixture all at once. Let stand a few minutes to absorb all the liquids.
