NEVER FAIL PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 well beaten eggs
1 c. pecan pieces
1 unbaked pie shell
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Mix sugar, syrup and butter. Add eggs and pecans and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer. Cool and serve.
