HOBO DINNER 
Corn on the cob
Sm. red potatoes
Polish or smoked sausage
Melted butter
Half & Half or canned milk
Seasonings to taste

Arrange cleaned corn around perimeter of 1 gallon can (or 3 pound coffee can) with ears standing on large end. Fill the middle with potatoes. Place sausage over vegetables. Add remaining ingredients. Cover can (aluminum foil) and punch a hole in the top. Put the can over hot coals until steam starts from the hole in the top of the can. Steam for about 20 minutes or until vegetables are done. Use mitts to remove from heat and tongs to serve. Cooking liquid can be used to pour over vegetables, rather than using more butter. Can be prepared at home and frozen, then reheated at harborside.
