RANCH BAKED CHICKEN
4 chicken breasts (or 8 chicken legs with thighs)
1 cup Ranch dressing (I use HIDDEN VALLEY®)
1 1/2 to 2 cups plain bread crumbs
dash of salt, pepper, paprika

Wash chicken, combine salt, pepper, paprika and bread crumbs. Dip chicken in Ranch dressing, then in bread crumb mix. Place on baking sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Serves 4.

Soak the chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes to 1 hour - prior to preparing this. Remove excess - before dredging. (Understand this is a KFC move). It does work. Taste is fantastic!

1. Never wash chicken. I don't care if your mom always did.
2. Skip adding the salt. Ranch mix has plenty. People grab the salt out of habit, not because the dish needs it.

I make this all of the time and started using 1/2 ranch dressing and 1/2 blue cheese dressing for a change up. It's such a hit in my family (I only use bonless, skinless thighs).

This is def a favorite in our house, so simple and tasty, it comes out perfectly every time! The only change I made was to bump the heat up to 400 degrees for 1 hour which made it crispier. Yum!

Making this chicken tonight :) I took some other people ideas and added alittle BBQ sauce to the ranch. I also used panko bread crumbs and added some onion power and garlic powder to the bread crumbs. It smells great and tastes even better!
