1 tube soda crackers, crushed
2 sticks butter, melted
3 large onions
3/4 c. milk
3 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
American cheese

Mix and press crackers and 1 stick melted butter in 10-inch pie plate. Slice and cook onions in 1 stick butter. Put over crust. Mix well the milk, eggs, salt and pepper and pour over onions. Top with sliced American cheese.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
