MIXED NUT CRUNCH | |
4 qt. popped corn 2 c. dry roasted peanuts 1 1/4 c. sugar 2/3 c. butter 2/3 c. light or dark corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. baking soda Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring continuously. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn and nuts, stirring to coat. Bake, uncovered for 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool before eating. |
