CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE | |
1 chocolate fudge cake mix 2 eggs, beaten 1 can cherry pie filling 1 tbsp. almond extract Combine cake mix, eggs, pie filling and extract. Stir lightly until mixed. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes in 13 x 9 inch pan. ICING: 1 c. sugar 5 tbsp. butter 1 sm. can Carnation milk 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet) 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Combine sugar, butter, milk. Bring to boil (225 degrees on candy thermometer). Fold in other ingredients. Spread on warm cake. |
