SNICKERDOODLE CAKE 
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. chocolate chips
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Put vinegar in a 1 cup measuring cup and fill with milk. Set aside. Beat together until light colored and fluffy the sugar, brown sugar and Crisco. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Add milk-vinegar mixture; beat well. Add chocolate chips. Spread batter - pushing it to sides of pan; top the batter with the cinnamon and sugar mixed together. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

Mini chips work better - they don't sink.
