PEANUT BUTTER SNICKERDOODLES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Sugar Coating:

2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix butter, sugar, peanut butter and eggs thoroughly. Stir in cream of tartar, flour, baking soda and salt. Form into 1-inch balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes at 400°F.

Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.

This recipe needs refining. The dough was so sticky it was impossible to handle. I had to refrigerate it to stiffen it and even then it was difficult. Also, I'm sure some brown sugar and vanilla would make these cookies more tasty. I'll not use this recipe again. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
