COMPANY SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon - lime gelatin
3 c. hot water
1 #2 can pineapple (reserve juice)
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
3 bananas, cubed
1 c. pineapple juice
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar (1/4 c. when Dream Whip used)
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Sharp Cheddar cheese

Dissolve gelatin in 3 cups hot water. Cool. Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows. Chill in large flat dish until firm.

Heat pineapple juice in top of double boiler. Add flour and sugar to beaten egg. Mix with juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool; fold in whipped cream. Spread over gelatin. Shred sharp Cheddar cheese generously over all. Cut and serve in squares. (Optional: Nuts may be added to gelatin.)
