SWEET AND SOUR PORK STEW | |
2 lbs. cubed pork 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. oil 1 c. water 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. sliced onions 1 pkg. frozen Chinese pea pods Heat oil. Sprinkle pork with 1/4 cup flour the salt and pepper. Brown in oil, when brown add onions, saute. While meat and onion are cooking in a bowl mix remaining ingredients except pea pods. Stir well. Add to meat mixture and simmer on low for 1 1/2 hours. During last 5 minutes add pea pods. Serve over rice. Goes great with the Oriental Egg Rolls. |
