GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 or 7 med. size potatoes
1 med. size onion
2 tbsp. oil
3 or 4 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 bacon strips

Boil whole potatoes with skins until done. Drain. Prepare dressing; chop onion into small pieces. Add salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Cut potatoes into slices. Add dressing and mix well. Pour some hot water over mix until smooth. Fry bacon, crumble and add to salad. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
