BUTTER TEA BALLS 
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped nuts
Confectioners' sugar

Cream butter and sugar well. Stir in egg. Add vanilla and beat until fluffy. Add flour and salt; mix well. Stir in nuts. Form into 2/3 inch balls. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Roll warm cookies in confectioners' sugar.
