HEALTH BREAD 
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. All Bran or Bran Buds cereal
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk

Boil raisins in water. Let set for a couple of hours or overnight. Mix all ingredients and pour into bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 1 loaf.

I have made this bread since the 1980's. It's delicious and 'medicinal' when extra fiber is needed in one's diet. It's our family go-to while taking iron during pregnancy and immediately after childbirth. It's best if you wait 24 hours after baking and storing to eat it.
