EGG NOG PIE | |
1 pkg. Knox gelatin 3 tbsp. cold water 2 c. egg nog 1 c. whipping cream 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. rum or rum flavor 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring Soften gelatin in cold water. Heat egg nog in pan over low heat. Stir in gelatin and heat until gelatin is dissolved. Chill until like egg whites. Beat with egg beater until smooth. Combine cream, sugar and salt and whip. Stir in flavoring. Fold in egg nog mixture. Pour into baked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. |
