PARTY CAKE | |
1 box Duncan Hines cake mix 1 1/2 c. pineapple liquid plus water 2 eggs 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained 1 1/2 c. milk 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 pkg. INSTANT vanilla pudding 8 oz. container Cool Whip 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. coconut 11 x 17 x 1/2 inch jelly roll pan, greased and floured. Follow directions on box for making cake, using 2 eggs and 1 1/2 cups liquid (pineapple and water). Pour into pan and bake 16 minutes - not longer than 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool, allow to remain in pan. Soften cream cheese with 1/2 cup of milk. Add remaining 1 cup of milk and instant pudding. Beat until blended. Add drained pineapple. Blend together and spread on cake. Then spread thawed Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts, then with coconut. Refrigerate until serving time. |
