SWISS CHICKEN BREAST | |
4 chicken breasts, boned & split with skin removed 6 slices Swiss cheese 1/2 c. milk or white wine 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of chicken soup 3 c. seasoned croutons Place chicken in 9 x 13 inch baking dish and top with cheese. Stir milk and soup until smooth; pour over chicken. Toss croutons in butter; sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is cooked. Variation: Substitute sliced turkey breast for chicken. Yield: 6-8 servings. Good enough for company. |
