6 eggs 6 tablespoons semolina 6 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (see note below) 1 liter milk (about 1 quart) 1/2 kilogram sugar Separate egg white from egg yolk. Mix together yolk, 6 tablespoons of the sugar, and semolina until nice and cremy. Whisk in egg white wisk until nice and fluffy; stir together slowly with a wooden spoon. Use spray oil on an oven proof dish. Pour pudding in a dish and bake 20-25 minutes on 350 degrees F or 180C (for convection oven). Meanwhile, put 1/2 kg sugar into a saucepan with 1 liter (about 1 quart) of milk and bring to a simmer; remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (or if not available, add 1 teaspoon white sugar and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract). When pudding is done, remove from the oven and pour hot milk over hot pudding and allow to stand for 30 minutes. Bon appetit!!!! Submitted by: Biljana |
