OATMEAL SCOTCHIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. (2 sticks) softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal
12 oz. pkg. butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
