ITALIAN NOODLES 
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, drained slightly, chopped
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
Pepper to taste
3 c. cooked noodles

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions, green pepper and garlic. Cook until lightly browned. Add small amounts of water, if necessary, to prevent drying. Add tomatoes, mushrooms and spices. When mixture is hot, stir in noodles. Toss until heated through. Top with cheese. Add a green vegetable, and your dinner is complete. Makes 6 servings.

Each serving provides 174 calories; 1 bread serving, 1 2/3 vegetable servings, 1 fat serving. 5 g protein. 6 g fat. 25 g carbohydrates. 183 mg sodium 25 mg cholesterol.
