HARVARD SAUCE FOR BEETS 
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
A little pepper
1 tbsp. butter

Mix dry ingredients. Add to vinegar and boil a few minutes. Add butter; stir until thickened. Add 1 pint beets, drained.
